Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous isn't it? C'mon, say it out loud because your mind cannot possibly comprehend or contain the amount of Awe you get just from staring into the abyss of this portrait.
I mean, look at this, there's a sun with eyeglasses greeting you with a profound message of "Nropm!" ..Whatever that means, some chick shooting at it with a cat chained.. ..Leashed? Leashed around her ankle, a lady in a sparkly dress holding some flowers, and I'm pretty sure that's a leech in the corner of the screen.
Seriously though, what the hell was I thinking when I drew this? I found this old drawing while rummaging through a box with some old papers. My parents liked to keep everything and that included some of my old pictures. The date on the back claims that this thing dates back to 1995 so I was only about 4 years old.
I wonder what a psychologist would say if I were to show this to one. Talking suns and sniper princesses. Must've been something in my chocolate milk.
The only thing that I solidly remember from drawing this is thinking I was actually writing something when I wrote that speech bubble. I didn't know how to write yet but look! Letters! That's saying something right?
I don't even think the sun was even a bad guy. I never really could draw horses, their back legs always killed me. I loved drawing foxes though, foxes were all over the place.
Man, this so great! your tirade about it made me laugh so much! this makes me realize that i really need to stop throwing away my kids' zombie pictures; they're obsessed.
Cool bringing me back on my old drawings, it feels like it's such a teasure to keep them and look back on them. I have some drawings date back to.... I guess between 2nd or 3rd grade. XD I had a lot of crazy ideas back then! lol If we have met I would have thought the sun with glasses, lady chained with a cat, and a leech in the corner was a great idea.
